Working while standing was healthy. When the feet get used to standing for long, it turns out to work while standing for four hours having the same calorie burning with the sport. On average we only burn 2.6 calories per minute while working while sitting. But when we work and stands calories burned as much as 3.3 per minute. The seemingly small calories become meaningful when we work while standing in a few hours.

Working while standing for four out of eight working hours means we burn an additional 130 calories and we reduce the negative impact of sitting all day at the office. Calories of 130 certainly not much. Moreover, many instant foods and drinks that calorific value is greater than that. Working while standing is meaningful for health if at least we do it four hours a day from Monday to Friday. That way, we burn 650 calories. The number of calories is equivalent to burning when we run as far as 10 km. When we consistently do it for 50 weeks a year, the combustion value is equivalent to 32,500 calories. That score is equivalent to running at 11 marathons!
